Stages for UNIBO professors

General information

Within the Leonardo Programme, the University of Bologna manages annual projects that finance university professors / researchers to carry out work placements within companies located in European countries outside Italy (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom). The placements vary in duration from 2 to 6 weeks.

Payment will be an approximate sum of 350 Euros per week. In addition, the reimbursement of travel expense will be refunded up to a maximum value of 300 Euros.

The deadline of the application (cover letter and forms) is in January. The starting date of the placement is on the following October.

Those interested should present their request for finance, along with their CV, the letter of acceptance and the letter of intent from the hosting company, to I.L.O. "UETP Alma Mater".

Documents and forms

The letter of acceptance is needed from the hosting company, typed on the company headed paper and should convey:

the declaration that they are willing to accept the candidate within the Leonardo programme; the starting date and duration of the placement; the description of the activities that will be carried out by the professor/researcher (the candidate should carry out activities in which he/she can demonstrate their relevant skills in order to improve the innovative capacity and the development of the company).
